Now fate has given me a second chance with the one person I knew I was always supposed to be with. But this time so much more was standing in our way.
Can I choose him over the life I’ve come to know?

My Views:
This book had me hooked from page one. I LOVED Dax and the relationship between him and Charlee was so very believable.

They experience problems at the beginning that are so common with young relationships and this made the story and them more relateable to me.

They had me smiling at the utter sweetness of some moments and also had me remembering that giddy feeling you get when you first meet someone you like. Amanda Bennett was spot on with describing the emotions throughout this book and I was feeling everything right along with them, from the happy times to the downright heartbreaking times.

There are plenty of twists and turns that had me gripped and I was rooting for Dax and Charlee the whole way. This is not your regular love story, it is about two people that are so unbelievably in love but we find out if just loving someone is enough to overcome the hurdles they face and can also if it stand a decade apart.

There are some things that I felt I needed more information about and I did get a little confused a couple of times because a few things that happened later in the story didn't seem to relate to things that had happened earlier on in the story and I felt that a couple of times some of the characters did things that seemed completely out of character but this did not take away from the fact that it is a brilliant book and one that I would recommend.

Overall I really enjoyed this book and give it 4 BIG BOOK LOVE STARS!
Teaser
Dax “I honestly, never thought you loved me that much. I always thought I loved you more.” It was literally killing me to talk to her about all of this. I knew deep down, it was a good thing, to get it all out in the open and be over it, but a part of me knew it would only make saying good bye, harder. “Honestly Charlee, I felt more strongly than I led on. It was hard for me when you left. I would love more than anything to see you, but if we were to meet up, it would literally wreck her. She knows the love I felt for you, and she feels like she will never be able to live up to that. And, I’m not sure that I could see you without having feelings get involved.”
