Soooo, my house is wrecked and absolutely nothing has been done. I put life on pause for the day while I read Carnage, there was no other option, I just could not put it down! I just about remembered to feed the kids though so it's all good ;)
There is a whole lot of love, heart break, drama, hot sex and Essex... It made me laugh out loud and sob like a freaking baby until I felt physically sick...Carnage is a masterpiece of pure perfection.
Lesley's first two books were AH-MAS-ING 5 star reads and I had some very high expectations for this book , Lesley Jones did not disappoint and Carnage just blew me away! It is just off the charts fabulous. Each and every single one if the characters in this book had me falling in love with them. I have a total soft spot for Marley and am keeping everything crossed he gets his own book too.
The male lead Sean (insert swooning and drooling here) is hot enough to make you want to lick the pages and have you squirming in all the right places. He is a red-hot rocker and his songs made me cry, they are just beautiful.
Carnage does need some sort of health warning on the cover though. This whole book is unexpected with twists and turns and a full on, smack you in the face, surprises that you just will not see coming!
These characters have stayed in my head going round and round since I finished reading and don't seem to be leaving any time soon. For me Carnage is a book that will now be on my list of greatest books I have ever read and I genuinely cant recommend it enough.
Lesley Jones may of ruined me though. I have a ton of books that need reading and I don't think I'm gonna be able to get into a new book yet. BIGGEST BOOK HANGOVER EVER!
Overall I give Carnage 6 BIG BOOK LOVE STARS because 5 just aren't enough! Bring on book two... I'm ready for ya :)
